You make the days worth living, the nights so warm
You make me feel like I'm top of the world
It all happened when you said you'd be my girl
I was lost at sea, in some raging storm
You brought me out of that tempest, to dry land
You awakened me with just the touch of your hand
Your love flooded me like a mighty swarm
You have saved me from a world of pain
I walked the road that some call "lonely"
You have put a lot of faith in me
I'll always remember dancing in the rain
Seems like we washed away all the bad
Replaced with memories of the love we have
Hard to believe I had so much to gain

You know,you write really really good poetry. And it just gushes out like it's so effortless. The flow and it seems so, raw. As in, it says exactly what you're thinking. People rarely give each other good comments even when people really deserve it. And you do. Spiffing, really.
Most poetry would do good with metaphors and stuff that could have several meanings which leave it to the reader's interpretation. As in, you write in a 'code' of sorts and each person interprets it differently and there is no right or wrong answer. Your poetry doesn't have that but it still works nevertheless. Because of that raw feeling it just has. The very intensity. It's very individual, me thinks.
Keep writing. I did tell you to stop gushing sappy poetry because well, given the situation. But keep this blog for just your poetry and that way, you're entitled to gush as much as you want. Because if you gush too much on LJ, it could look like self-pity to a certain extent. For those who don't really know you.
Now, am I going to see some more poetry soon? *puts hands on hips*
