Back On Again | SONG

Back On Again
Written by: Christopher Williams

I've been ridin' in this saddle dang near all my life
I'm roping them cattle every Friday night
I've lost my wife and lost my girlfriend
But I can't help it, so I just get back on again

You know I've been thrown
From every dang horse I've rode
I've broken my leg and both my hands
I guess its just all in how you land
I'm always broke and I never win
But I always get back on again

We can't change who we are, we're all the same
We deal with the thrill, and with the pain
We just gotta know how to bend
And how to get right back on again

I've tasted the sand and tasted the mud
Hell, I've even tasted my own blood
Seems we're tryin' to outrun the wind
But we're always gettin' back on again

One of these days when they open that chute
And when I go to spurrin' my boots
I might fall down and that'll be the end
But I'll try like hell to get back on again

We can't change who we are, we're all the same
We deal with the thrill, and with the pain
We just gotta know how to bend
And how to get right back on again

We're all just a buncha cowboys with crazy grins
One hand on the rope, and the other in the wind
Don't lose your hat, when she starts to spin
And if you fall down, get back on again!
